Fuhrer in LA is as barmy and exploitative as it sounds.

Developer Ankaar Productions says that it's inspired by the grindhouse films of the 1970s. Fuhrer in LA is its first attempt to bring that to games.

Set in 1947, this top-down action adventure game has you play as Hitler after he wakes up in Los Angeles due to a horrible mix-up.

Hitler's original plan was to fake his suicide (which he does in the game) and then escape to Brazil.

Instead, he now has shoot his way across LA with the cops and army hot on his swastika. Expect plenty of action, dark comedy, and strange plot twists, then.

You can purchase Fuhrer in LA for 79p / 99c on Google Play right now.

Due to its use of a real human figure, Hitler, and dark comedy, the game won't be coming to iOS any time soon. It would be rejected as soon as Apple even glanced at it.
