After Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja's the next mobile game to come to the big screen

We thought it was crazy when Rovio announced its plans to adapt Angry Birds to the big screen but obviously we were wrong as the movie's been very popular and earned a positive reception.

Apparently Halfbrick wants a piece of that success as The Hollywood Reporter is saying that a Fruit Ninja movie is on the way.

Yes, you read that right, the fruit-slicing app is getting the movie treatment and I'm not even sure what it'll look like. No word has leaked on a possible plot as the script is just being written but it sounds crazy on paper.

J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani will apparently write the script but no director has been announced yet.
