To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters, Fruit Ninja has been updated with spectral fruit, Ecto Goggles, and Proton Packs.

No, really, there be ghosts in those bananas and melons, apparently.

With the Proton Pack equipped, you can draw an X on the screen to cross the streams and blow up fruit. You can blame the resulting mess on Slimer.

Plus, if you head down to the River of Slime you can slice up fruit in a classic scene from Ghostbusters 2. There's even a chance to slice ghost traps to release, yes, ghost fruit.

The Ghostbusters update is available for free right now. You can purchase the game on the App Store [buy] and Google Play [buy].

There's also a free version on the App Store [download] and Google Play [download], if you prefer.
