Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins adds new stages, retro Konami music and more in latest update

Konami has announced a new update to Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins, letting players enjoy the puzzle adventure game with new stages, fresh plants, nostalgic music and a new costume. Available exclusively on Apple Arcade, the game challenges players with mysterious ruins they have to navigate as well as new boss battles that will put their skills to the test.

In Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins, players can expect to venture into the new “Flame Ruins” dungeon that features more than 20 stages filled with dangers lurking around every corner. Frogger and Axol will have to discover more secrets about the legend of the stone tablet while exploring scorching hot and icy cold locales. Thankfully, Frogger can now sport a new "Explorer" costume to make sure he's up to the task.

The new update also rewards players with randomised “Potted Plants” simply by logging into the game. These goodies can generate Gems when players harvest the plant in their tents. Additionally, everyone can enjoy retro music “Records” from classic KONAMI games in the in-game store. You can set these tracks as your background music so you can feel the Contra, Castlevania and Goemon vibes while you play.

If you're eager to join in on all the fun of the latest update, you can download Frogger and the Rumbling Ruins exclusively from Apple Arcade. It's a subscription service that costs $4.99 a month or your local equivalent.
