The isometric puzzler Fracter launches on iOS and Android next week and we're already creeped out
Creepy, but I dig it
We first heard about Fracter a couple of months ago. At the time it only had a 'summer 2018' release but, hey, it's summer and it's releasing on iOS and Android next week.
It's not the first time we've seen monochromatic puzzlers like this one crop up. With titles like LIMBO, INSIDE, and Starman on mobile, Fracter is in good company at the very least.
In it, you traverse a series of isometric labyrinths in the realm of shadows on a quest to restore light back into a darkened world. Ahead of you are head-scratching puzzles and curious monsters, and you've only got the power of light to aid you so use it wisely.
Check out the game's first official trailer above. What starts off as a rather chill and laid-back experience soon picks up tempo as levels start to grow and monsters start appearing. Though I've been long-sold on the game, now I'm pretty stoked to get my hands on it.
