Fortnite kicks off Chapter 3: Season 1 with Dwayne Johnson and Spider-Man
Fortnite welcomes both Dwayne Johnson and Spider-Man to the game in its “Chapter 3 Season 1: Flipped!” update, adding another layer of excitement to the popular battle royale. The Rock is the face behind the game's “Foundation” character, while our friendly neighborhood wallcrawler is coming to the hit title as a new playable character.
Fortnite is also adding a rehauled map in Chapter 3, as well as new gameplay mechanics plus exciting updates to the continuing narrative. The Daily Bugle makes a welcome appearance, and on December 11th, players can score Spider-Man’s Web Shooters in order to swing their way across the island Spidey style.
Fancy pitching a tent and camping with your squad? You can now build your own home base on the island by throwing down a tent so that you can heal up or stash some valuable goods. Other updates include being able to pick up some stuff even while you're knocked out, as well as being able to crawl to your squad faster when an enemy takes you out. The Chapter 3 Season 1 battle pass also adds outfits like THE WANDERER RONIN, THE OUTLAW HARLOWE, and so much more.
