Could Fortnite be headed to Android in China later this month?

Fortnite has been incredibly popular on iOS since its beta, gripping people from all over the world and throwing up some mightily impressive monthly sales figures for its cosmetic IAPs. The one thing we want to know, however, is when's it coming to Android? Well (in China at the very least) it might be available on July 24th.

Again, take everything with a huge pinch of salt as details are a little shaky at the moment. Announced over on Tencent Games' Twitter, it pushed out the above Tweet yesterday.

Since China doesn't have Google Play I'm not surprised Tencent might be publishing it - especially since Tencent also has a 40% stake in Epic. Though, I do find the situation mildly amusing considering the legal battle that recently ended between PUBG Corp. and Epic Games.

While we shouldn't take this as gospel just yet, mark the date in your diaries just in case, folks. Though Tencent deals primarily with mobile titles, its Steam-like competitor Tencent WeGame in in the picture so there's a chance this could roll out on PC first.

We'll have to watch and wait for more information before getting too excited. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below.
