Well this is a fun new twist

Fortnite's Durrr Burger falls through an interdimensional wormhole and pops up in a real-life desert

The aftermath of Fortnite’s Blast Off event saw dozens of rifts sprouting up all over the game, growing in size over the course of the week and eating up locations throughout the world in a rather strange turn of events. This weekend, Fortnite’s Durrr Burger mascot succumbed to a rift. However, that wasn’t the end for this particular fast food icon.

The Durrr Burger reappeared on Saturday in a real-life desert, discovered by a photographer scouting for photoshoot locations. The misplaced Durrr Burger can be seen in photos perched in the desert sand, surrounded by warning signs and a Fortnite police car.

No one can say for sure why this has happened. Is it an elaborate scheme on the part of Epic Games? It wouldn’t be the first time game companies have brought video game lore to the real world. Supercell took Clash Royale’s Builder on a world tour recently.
