Updated on June 12th at 09:56: Fluid SE is now out on the Google Play Store [buy] and the Windows Phone Store [buy].

Original story follows...

Fluid SE is what PacMan might look like if it had been invented at a rave in the late-90's. All neon colours, blobs that bite back, and throbbing lights.

The game has just hit the New Zealand App Store, which means it should be hitting the UK at around midnight tonight.

You control a ship and need to race around tight little levels snaffling all the glowing balls of energy. Orbs you've eaten become angry red and black blobs that follow you around and try and kill you.

There are sharp time constraints on each of the levels that feel impossible to begin with, but your fingers soon start to catch up with the lightning-fast arcade rhythms of the game.

As well as hitting the UK App Store tomorrow, the game will also land on the Google Play Store and Windows Phone Store. Where ever you grab it from it should set you back £1.49 / $1.99.
