Blindflug Studios has released a new content update for First Strike, the nuclear strategy title. The update is called Daily Conflict and is now live in-game and introduces a host of features and content. Most importantly the game is now free-to-play on both mobile platforms.

The original game was released back in 2014 and got remastered by the developers in March this year. The remastered version comes with improved gameplay, tactics and the devs have focused on the codebase to enhance the game overall.

With the new update, players get to play seven new exciting challenges. Elsewhere, there’s a significant change to the rockets as all normal rockets will deal permanent destruction damage from now on.

The max silo size is 1 and the cruise building process has gone up to 400% although players won’t be able to use the expansion. At first, the player will get to start with a permanent Iron Dome but will need to protect the capital region to save your superpower.

Finally, the research gets completed at the start of the game and two Infiltrator superweapons will also be available initially without the expansion feature. Also, Research, expansion, build time and cooldown get a boost of 200%.

After announcing the upcoming updates and plans, Moritz Zumbühl, CEO of Blindflug Studios said: “We are very happy to have such a persistent and passionate community. The first version of the game came out in 2014 and has maintained a huge player base over the years. With these new updates, the player base is growing even larger and it’s raining requests for features! The next update is already planned for this summer and we’re looking forward to showing our community more soon.”

First Strike is now available on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game. Be sure to check out our favourite strategy games which are available on Android phones and tablets
