Silver Award-winning RPG Final Fantasy V finally storms onto Android
Not a Cloud in the sky
It's good news for Android users this afternoon, as medieval-fantasy RPG Final Fantasy V is finally available on Google Play. Yep, six months after wandering purposefully onto iOS.
For those yet to play this iteration, Square Enix tells the story of four unlikely heroes thrown together by fate in Final Fantasy V.
Oh, and to make matters worse, the four element crystals that maintain peace and prosperity have been stripped of their power. Crikey.
Up until 1999, Final Fantasy V remained unavailable in the West. It was originally released in 1992, you see, but it wasn't until 1999 (via Final Fantasy Anthology for PSone) that Western gamers could finally get their hands on it.
Since then, Final Fantasy V has been released on Game Boy Advance, Nintendo's Virtual Console, PSN, and iOS.
Final Fantasy V is available now on Google Play for £10.99.
