You should probably start saving your money right now, for Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy IV
is to hit iOS on December 20th, and Android in early 2013.
The Japanese developer actually confirmed the game's existence in the iTunes descriptions of a few Final Fantasy
In the App Store blurb for Final Fantasy
, for example, Squeenix states: "Take advantage of a limited-time sale celebrating the coming release of Final Fantasy IV!
The game was also added to Square Enix's downloadable games page, and then outed on Japanese website Gamer

will be available worldwide on iOS on December 20th, with an introductory price tag of ¥1800 (about £14 / $20). An Android version will be available in spring 2013.
