Crytek to set new Kindle Fire tablets ablaze with Fibble

Crytek is porting its Bronze Award-winning iOS physics-puzzler Fibble to Amazon's family of newly announced Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD tablets.

Available on iOS since March, Crytek's first step into the world of mobile gaming puts you in charge of a stranded alien who has been separated from his crew.

Fibble (for that is his name) is a diminutive fellow, whom you must guide though mazes within a suburban household setting.

This means you'll be flicking your new favourite orange blob through areas like bathrooms, basements, and kitchens in search of his lost shipmates.

Changing rooms

If you're planning on picking up one of the three flavours of Kindle Fire HD, you'll get the chance to have a crack at two bonus areas (Holiday Hop and Summer Spin) exclusive to the Kindle Fire HD edition of Fibble.

No release date has been announced for the Amazon Appstore version of this CryEngine-powered game yet, but we wouldn't be surprised if it coincided with the launch of the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD on September 14th.

Fibble will set you back 69p / 99c when it does go live on Amazon's marketplace, and it will be fully compatible with the all-new Kindle Fire, which UK residents will be able to purchase on October 25th.
