Fantasy Life 2 will be skipping the 3DS and heading to iOS, Android instead
Moving next-door
During its Vision 2015 event in Japan, Level-5 (known for the Professor Layton series) announced that Fantasy Life 2: Two Moons And The Village of God would be coming to iOS and Android only.
This is a surprise as the first Fantasy Life, which we gave a Silver Award, was published exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.
However, it seems that those 3DS fans won't be missing out on too much as the sequel doesn't differ much from the first game at all.
It features 12 Lifes to play, as with the first game, and seems to feature a number of similar fields and shares many of the same graphics.
Where it does differ is a shift in focus on constructing your own village. You'll have to collect villagers and expand the borders to fit them all in.
You can, of course, still venture out into parties to slay monsters.
Fantasy Life 2 will be out in Japan on iOS and Android this summer. There's no word yet as to whether it will be heading west.
