After a not-that-great launch lineup of games to pick from, the PlayStation Suite's selection of titles (currently only available on the Xperia Play) continues to be a mixed bunch, as illustrated by the two contrasting new releases in the past week.

The first is Everybody’s Golf 2 (download) - a series that’s still highly regarded and has spawned a number of copycat games like Gameloft’s Let’s Golf!.

One of the first big hitters of the cartoon / arcade golf genre, Everybody’s Golf 2 includes unlockable characters, tournaments, and a fairly decent (and approachable) variation on a good walk spoiled.

If you were expecting Sony to follow this up with another classic, you’re in for a disappointment, as the second new release is none other than Jet Rider (download).

Jet-what?

It looks terrible, which may be because it was one of the first games to come out on the PlayStation One, way back in 1996, but - hey - I’m sure someone out there will want to play it (not many, though, going by the Market download figures).

Both these games are yours for the optimistic price of £3.99 each, either from the PlayStation Suite app or direct from the Android Market.
