EA Mobile slashes Android app price to 99 cents for Christmas
Droid, Frankincense, and Myrrh
Roaring fire, carefully wrapped gifts, and heavily discounted mobile games. All the major elements of a successful festive season.
To match its bonkers iPhone sale, EA Mobile has gone ahead and given its Android apps the same treatment - four top games from the publisher’s line-up can be had for 99 cents a pop.
There’s the blisteringly fast racer Need for Speed Shift, which lets you choose between being a speedy slipstream driver or an aggressive fender-bending road warrior. And footy sim FIFA 10, which features real world teams and players, kicking a bag of wind around real world pitches.
And then there’s The Sims 3, which lets you look after a house of lifeless automatons content to pee on the floor if they’re not forcefully pushed to a toilet. Like the Pocket Gamer offices, basically. And finally, ultra classic, from Russia with love, dream-infesting puzzler Tetris.
All four games are yours, ready and waiting on the Android marketplace for the pocket money price of 99c. Go on. Treat yourself.
