Dungeon Hunter 3 for iOS to be updated 'next month' with multiplayer
Android version to arrive around the same time
Gameloft has announced on Twitter that the iPhone and iPad versions of Dungeon Hunter 3 will receive a multiplayer update "next month".
No further details on what form the multiplayer were revealed, but during our hands-on with the game last year we were told it would consist of "both co-op and PvP".
The Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning sequel will also be released on the Android Market at around the same time as the iOS update.
Definitely different
If you're unfamiliar with Gameloft's latest Dungeon Hunter instalment, it ditches its predecessor's dungeon-crawling gameplay in favour of wave-based combat, which sees you battle enemies of ever-increasing toughness.
Thankfully, you have four characters - each with unique skills - to choose from: Warlord, Astromancer, Trickster, and Shaman.
Dungeon Hunter 3 is available on the App Store as a Universal app for free, and you can nab it by hitting the button below.
