Dungeon Defenders Eternity bolsters the defences on Android as you wait for Dungeon Defenders 2

Trendy Entertainment has released Dungeon Defenders Eternity for Tegra-based Android devices.

We're a little late on this one, admittedly. Eternity has been available for over a week already. Still, it should keep you occupied while waiting for Dungeon Defenders 2 to arrive.

However, in the short time that it has been out, it's amassed an angry mob of would-be players.

It seems that some people are having trouble logging in and actually playing the game. So that's worth noting before you go spending any money on it.

Presuming that you are able to get in and play Eternity, it seems that it offers a pretty good time.

Essentially, it's a reworking of the original Dungeon Defenders, improved by years of fan feedback and requests. If you don't know, that means it's an action-RPG with tower defence mechanics and online multiplayer co-op for up to four.

You amass a team of three young friends from 12 classes and head off to defeat the Old Ones' army. The idea is to work together, building defences to help you out while shooting and slicing up the orcish enemy.

Levelling up your heroes in order to take on the huge bosses will keep you plenty busy, then. Failing that, you could always call on three online friends to help you out, I suppose.

As said, you may want to hold fire on spending money on this one until the connection problems are sorted.

If you're willing to take the risk, Dungeon Defenders Eternity is available to purchase on Google Play right now for £5.85 / $9.99.

Dungeon Defenders Eternity will be coming to iOS soon.
