DuckTales: Remastered could be coming to smartphones based on this tease from Disney
Rewriting history
DuckTales: Remastered, the high-def remake of the classic NES game DuckTales, may be headed to mobile.
A photo tweeted by Disney Interactive today seems to show the game, which originally came out on last-gen consoles in 2013, running on an iPhone.
Disney’s photo is followed by a lyric from the DuckTales cartoon opening theme: "Might solve a mystery, or rewrite history!" and the hashtag #sneakpeek.
The GameBoy version of the original DuckTales made it on our list of top 10 GameBoy games we’d like to see on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
This wouldn’t be the first DuckTales game on smartphones.
DuckTales: Scrooge’s Loot was a free to play iOS and Android game from 2013 that earned a Bronze Award for its “solid controls and great visuals.”
We’re not sure what exactly Disney is planning with this DuckTales: Remastered tease, but we’ll update you as soon as we do.
