Hacker shows off Dreamcast emulator running Crazy Taxi and Dead or Alive 2 on Android
|

Notorious hacker drk||Raziel, known for dabbling in Dreamcast emulators for both the PS3 and PSP, has released a trio of videos to shown off his latest creation: a fully functioning Dreamcast emulator on the Android.

The videos show games like Power Stone, Crazy Taxi, and Dead or Alive 2 running on the Samsung Galaxy S. The menus and loading screens run silky smooth, but any 3D gameplay splutters and chugs. We also see the bios and menu of Sega’s fan favourite console, and listen to Raz’s hideous taste in music.

We’re still pretty sceptical about this thing ever getting off the ground and running smoothly, especially without a controller. But, from Shenmue to Soul Calibur, the Dreamcast has a massive selection of games that we'd love to play on the go.
