OMGPOP's iOS and Android sketch-'em-up Draw Something has been downloaded more than 50 million times in just 50 days, making this highly addictive title the fastest-growing original mobile game of all time.

Draw Something currently sits at the top of Apple's App Store charts in the UK and US (and probably plenty of other countries around the world, too) for both paid and free apps - a pretty impressive feat when you have the recently released Angry Birds Space breathing down your neck.

When OMGPOP launched its Pictionary-esque app at the beginning of February 2012, the game's players were creating around three drawings per second, but that number now stands at 3,000 drawings per second. More than six billion drawings have been created in total hitherto.

Word game

If you're wondering what the most popular words in Draw Something are, look no further. They are: 'starfish', 'pregnant', 'hangman', 'six pack', and 'boom box'. The least popular is 'latrine'.

Check out our freshly published guide on how to create your very own masterpieces in Draw Something before you leave, incidentally.

You can download Draw Something as a Universal app on iOS in one of two flavours: a 69p / 99c ad-free version [buy], and a free-to-play ad-supported version [download].

Similarly, you can get it on Android for free [download], or stump up 62p for the ad-free version [buy].
