Dragon Quest VI completes the Zenithia trilogy on iOS and Android, out now
Nice to slime you
Square Enix has brought the last of the Zenithia trilogy to iOS and Android. Yep, Dragon Quest VI is now available to purchase for £10.99 / $14.99.
While the original Dragon Quest VI was released 20 years ago back in 1995 for the SNES, this mobile version is based on the 2010 DS port.
This means that the slime-sliding minigame that was introduced in the DS port is available in this mobile version. It's essentially like playing the winter sport curling except using a slime instead of a stone.
But that's only a distraction from your main quest. You play as a hero as he sets out to save the world from an evil after being told he's the only one who can by a mountain spirit.
You head off on a party-based adventure, planning out turn-based battles, moving between the real world and phantom world, and recruiting slime friends to battle in the Slimopolis arena.
You can purchase Dragon Quest VI on the App Store and Google Play right now.
