Mediocre's clever traffic management game Does Not Commute is now out on Android, as well as iOS.

The game asks you to get a car from one part of a town to another, over and over again. Each time you repeat the commute you'll be dodging the auto-driving vehicles from your previous sessions.

And you'll keep going until you're plunged into a chaotic blur of hot dog trucks, sports cars, and school buses in a "temporal paradox in which you have no one to blame but yourself", as the developer describes it.

Those tricky traffic puzzles help you uncover a number of weird storylines involving each commuter. And the narrative is written by Simon Flesser of Simogo fame. So it's got that going for it.

Like Medicore's last game, Smash Hit, you can get Does Not Commute and play the whole game for free if you're really good. Or you can pay a one-off £1.49 / $1.99 in-app purchase to unlock checkpoints.

It's available here on Google Play, and here on iPhone and iPad if you missed it earlier in the week.
