Diablo Immortal introduces the classic pastime of fishing in the latest update alongside lots of new legendary items to collect
The massively successful action RPG Diablo Immortal has released yet another batch of free content, this time bringing the classic pastime of Fishing to the game. On top of this too, there are also a fair few handouts coming, alongside an updated roster of brand-new legendary items for you to collect.
Beginning at level 43, players will be able to participate in the new Fishing mechanic. If you make your way over to Bilefin, you can then accept a quest titled The Greatest Pastime. This will give you all the supplies you need to begin fishing!
But what do you get from this new side activity? Well, a fair collection of things, actually. For one, there’s a new fishing log that will reward you with different items and currencies as you fill out your log, which will happen naturally as you fish throughout the three safe zones in the game. You’ll also be able to grab yourself new rods as you progress, as well as random items and the like. With 40 different fish to collect, you'd best get out there and start casting!
Perhaps more importantly for players less concerned with this particular part of the game, there are also the 36 new legendary items being added to the game. These will only be available on Hell Difficulty VIII, but there are lots of them for each class. On top of all this, there’s also a returning event that will run from March 2nd to March 6th - Hungering Moon. This event will see you complete three tasks each day during this timeframe, which will then award you with the power to draw a Blessing of Magic or Blessing of Might, each with its own benefits.
