Pocket Gamer Advent Calendar 2016 - Deus Ex GO

Merry Christmas pocket gamers! I hope you're all having a fantastic day surrounded by people you quite like doing fun stuff.

Sadly, we come to the end of a journey that started on December first. We are, in fact, referring to our Advent Calendar - which we've thoroughly enjoyed every single day of.

For those not in the know, each day of December we've been giving away codes for the absolute best premium games mobile has to offer. It all ends today, but you can catch up on the ins and outs by reading the post from December first.

We are ending proceedings with a virtual bang though, as the final game on our list is absolutely Game of the Year material. It's Deus Ex GO.

Get right out of town!

You read that correctly! Deus Ex GO, the third in Square Enix's wildly successful GO trilogy which has so far seen Hitman and Tomb Raider reduced to delightful touch-fueled puzzlers, is up for grabs today.

Deus Ex GO is exactly what you'd expect from a mobile puzzler based on the franchise. So hacking, augmentations, and robots in abundance then, all decorated in a cyberpunk theme.

It brings back the challenge and single screen level design of Hitman GO, but marries it with the gorgeous visuals and animation of Lara Croft GO. That pretty much results in the best GO game so far.

We absolutely loved it at review, giving it a thoroughly deserved Gold Award and saying: "Deus Ex GO is another triumph that finds crafty puzzles in the DNA of a much-loved franchise".
