In case you guys were wondering, no I haven't died, and I'm back to bring you delicious news. So perk up and turn your attention to the fast-paced, side-scrolling platformer Derrick the Deathfin's Kickstarter campaign.

You might remember the game's release on PlayStation 3 back in 2012 and Steam a couple of years later in 2014, so it's been around for a while. Now however it's looking to come to mobile and here's why you should give it a moment of your time:

Aesthetically it's gorgeous. Coming from the generation of stop-motion Sinbad epics, I've got such a soft spot for products that have been painstakingly crafted, and Derrick's been made up entirely of hand-cut paper craft – how awesome is that? Check out the video below for more information.

Majorly, some of Derrick the Deathfin's proceeds, once launched, will go to the Pangeaseed Foundation to help #SavetheShark.

So give the campaign a look over, spread the word, and help Ronzo and Different Cloth bring the project to life.
