Mobage's Deity Wars brings evolving cards and raid bosses to Android devices

Japanese publisher DeNA has played a new card in its bid to corner the market on freemium fantasy card games, and that card is Deity Wars.

Available for Android via its Mobage platform, the svelte (4.8MB) app promises players hundreds of cards to collect and multiple gameplay modes to enjoy.

More importantly, Deity Wars looks to improve on the limited battle system of Rage of Bahamut by allowing players to customise their cards.

This is accomplished by either evolving the card to one of its four forms or by adding collected 'Material' to the card to make it truly unique

In addition to the card customisation aspect, Deity Wars features a strong bosses which players can attack on their own or with the help of a friend through the 'ally' (multiplayer) mode.

Once players can comfortably take down a regular boss, they can attempt to run through the 'Raid Boss' mode where players engage a powerful enemy with the help of friends in a quest to acquire epic loot.
