DeNa has announced that its Mobage gaming platform is now live in the US, China, and other English-speaking countries, with a global roll out across further territories and platforms expected 'soon'.

Speaking on the expansion, Ngmoco CEO and DeNA executive officer Neil Young said, “Mobage’s release outside of Japan marks the next step in our company’s global expansion.”

“The opportunity in front of us is to build Mobage into the definitive destination for games and entertainment
across territories and mobile operating systems."

"We’re tremendously excited about the potential for the platform, both as a great way for players to experience the very best games and for developers to access a global audience easily and effectively.”

The market

Mobage currently houses 20 social titles such as Zombie Farm, Pocket God, Pocket Frogs, Paper Toss, and Ngmoco's We Rule, with at least another 100 already in the works.

Many of these social titles will be gracing Android for the very first time.

The social platform also allows you to meet, chat, and play with other gamers from around the world, and spend a service-wide currency on a range of virtual goods for your games.

You can download Mobage from the Android Market for free.
