Dashy Crashy Turbo is a sizeable update to the original Dashy Crashy, which adds new vehicles, challenges, and a bunch more stuff to do.

We don't tend to review updates, so instead let the App Army loose on it. Here's what they had to say.

This game is not fun. Swipe sideways to avoid cars, and up to boost. I played this for a while and you can stay in a lane without having to move for ages.

It's just another copy of so many other games. When will they learn.

Joseph Mark Maceiko

This isn't a new game. I played the original Dashy Crashy some time ago, and spent considerable time with it. Turbo is basically an update to the original.

I enjoyed playing. It's not groundbreaking, but it has enough features to keep me coming back. It's fun. I like collecting the new vehicles, and it poses a decent challenge. I kept replaying in order to go a little bit further than the previous try.

This update adds more vehicles, special actions, and missions. Yes, you basically just have to swipe left and right, but you can also speed up and slow down to avoid obstacles. The graphics are cartoony, crisp, and colourful.

If you like endless runners, you'll probably enjoy this. For me, the game was a fun time waster and I would recommend others to give it a spin.

Jeramy De Vos

This is a good time waster if you like mindless endless runners. The graphics are cartoony, but they look good. I will play it every once in awhile when I have a few minutes to wait.

Tony Teulan

This latest update adds some slight variety with new missions, vehicles with special abilities, and other new elements. Ultimately though, if you disliked it before the update, this isn't going to change your mind.

I'd rather play Horizon Run or any of the Final Freeway games. It's just too aimless and I would have liked more gameplay variety. Feels like being in traffic on a crowded motorway.

Oksana Ryan

Crash into bollards, pick up taxi fares, and jump off ramps are a few of the aims of Dashy Crashy Turbo. There is nothing new about the gameplay, and yet I found myself having fun.

No real skill is needed as you avoid traffic while gathering points, but the graphics are good enough, the music and voiceover not bad, and there are multiple upgrades to your vehicle.

This is not a game you can sink your teeth into but okay in short bursts.

Lewis Lambeth

I mostly enjoyed this. I thought the art style was cute, and sound was pretty fun.

It's not a particularly innovative take on the endless runner, but it's no less enjoyable. Collecting the different new vehicles is fun, and it seems there is good variance between them all, which helps keeps the game a bit more interesting.

It was also nice how smooth getting into another game was after having crashed, not too many pop ups or menus.

I did feel it could do a slightly better job of onboarding. You get a little white hand indicating to swipe left, right, or ahead and that's about it. No explanation of the gift boxes, or how they were earned. No explanation of how new cars were awarded.

It can all feel a bit hectic at times, which can be fun in this type of game, but sometimes it's hard to tell what is coming up, and the emoji speech bubbles are often just distracting.

The controls are pretty simple, but sometimes a little unresponsive.

David Beren

I too love the cutesy art style but I'm feeling a whole lot of difference over version 1.0. I love the additions like cones and car chases, they add another element of excitement and madness.

Still, it does feel a bit hectic and almost too fast-paced. Collecting new cars feels like an add-on, more aesthetic than actual purpose.

The controls work well enough, feel responsive, and I never got the impression they were hindering me. I also love the day and night cycle.

Bottom line, it's good for short gameplay, pick up and go while in a doctor's office or waiting for an oil change. Can't say I'd spend big dollars on it but it's a good five minute time killer.

Swapnil Jadhav

This is a fun endless runner with a fast pace . It's addictive, the controls are buttery smooth, and there's lots of content to unlock.
