Cut the Rope arrives on Android for free - exclusively on GetJar

Talk about misleading. When Cut the Rope’s new Twitter account suddenly appeared earlier in the week promising the long-awaited Android version of the hit iPhone puzzle game would be coming to “‘blank’ App Store” today, we all presumed they meant the Amazon Appstore.

But it seems we were wrong. Instead, Cut the Rope has arrived on Android today for free exclusively on GetJar.

The Pocket Gamer and BAFTA award-winning title has all 150 levels from the iPhone version available to play at launch, with a few minor alterations to some aspects of the game.

ZeptoLab, the developer behind the smash-hit puzzler, has told Pocket Gamer that it has used the time between releases to do a little tweaking to the difficulty curve by re-arranging some of the boxes (worlds), and altered a few of the levels to “improve the game experience on the platform”.

You can download the game for free by heading over to GetJar, putting in your phone model, and then searching for the game.

I would direct link, but doing so would link you to a specific build of the game that might not be compatible with your phone model.
