Crisis Action is an online multiplayer shooter currently only available in Taiwan and China. But it's heading west on iOS and Android this December.

It's amounted over 120 million players already and will be bringing a "$2m eSports offering" when it heads over here.

The developers at Hero Entertainment have modeled Crisis Action on successful shooters like Counter Strike and it seems to have worked.

Plus, with the shift into the rising tide of eSports in the west it seems destined to get even bigger.

As to the game itself, it's pretty straightforward in how it plays. You have a gun and work with your team to shoot down your opponents.

If you can withstand the music (I suggest muting it if you can't) then you can see how Crisis Action plays in the video below.

By the looks of it, you can customise your gun with parts you unlock. It's also possible to revive yourself upon death by spending diamonds - the in-game currency.

You can see where the money is being made in Crisis Action through these microtransactions.

We hope to have more information on the game when it comes out next month.
