Crashlands' Combover update adds Hardcore mode and a whole heap of weapons

Butter Shenanigans has released a brand-new update for their survival-adventure game Crashlands, and there's plenty of reasons to be excited.

The new update introduces a wide host of changes, including a couple new game modes to unlock. For those who want a more intense experience, Hardcore mode will only let you die once, while Creative mode is more relaxed, letting you build the magnificent base of your dreams.

There are also a variety of changes to the weapon system, which rebalances weapon abilities, adds more weapons to choose from, and also introduces hidden combo mechanics on a number of items.

There are other changes as well, including tweaks to the display, hotbar, and settings that allow you to change your equipment set. Check out the full announcement for all of the details, all of which offer some pretty compelling reasons to head back into the Bawg if you haven't for a while.

If you've never had a chance to check out the game before, head on over to our review to take a look. We gave the game a gold award, noting that it was "A brilliant survival adventure through a hostile alien world. Crashlands is funny, fun, and well worth the hours you'll lose in it."

You can download Crashlands from either the App Store or the Play Store.
