Butterscotch Shenanigan's action-RPG survival adventure Crashlands gets a new trailer
Fun and cheeky
If you've been keeping an eye on survival-RPG Crashlands this past year, then you're in for a treat, as a shiny new trailer has just landed.
It shows off the building mechanics, which involve you simply selecting your materials and drawing them onto the screen with your fingers.
There's also some seriously in-depth crafting, with over 468 items to make and use against the creatures you encounter in real-time combat.
Most interestingly is the cross-platform gameplay, which saves your progress between PC and mobile, allowing you to take your game anywhere.
And finally, there's opportunities to create your own campaigns and alter other parts of the games mechanics, should you wish to do so.
It looks gorgeous and easy to get to grips with, so it's definitely one to get excited by. And did I mention the trailer is hilarious? Because it is.
We're fans of developer Butterscotch Creations, having given its last game Flop Rocket our Bronze Award, with our reviewer calling it a "darn entertaining arcade experience".
You should be in safe hands then when the game launches this summer on Android, iOS and Steam. Or go check out our hands-on preview from GDC if you're not already getting excited.
