Cookie Run: Kingdom is coming to mainland China thanks to Changyou and Tencent Games

Devsisters has officially announced its partnership with Changyou and Tencent Games to bring Cookie Run: Kingdom to players in China. Given that Tencent Games is one of the biggest heavyweights in the industry today, it does make sense for the award-winning mobile RPG to find its home there within mainland China.

As of October 2022, Cookie Run: Kingdom already boasts over 50 million cumulative users less than two years since it was first launched in 2021. The game has plenty of accolades under its belt, including the top rank in Korea’s Google Play, App Store, and One Store, the top spot in Japan’s Google Play and App Store, as well as the #2 spot in the US App Store.

Other accolades include the 2021 Korea Game Awards Grand Prize, along with our very own 2022 Pocket Gamer Mobile Game Awards People’s Choice and 2022 Pocket Gamer Awards Best Updated Game and Best Community.
