Clash of Clans launches Halloween-themed cinematic along with plenty of October updates

Clash of Clans is spicing things up this Halloween season with a particularly creepy possession - and an exorcism to go along with it. You can catch all the cinematic goodness of this terrifying tale in the embedded clip below. Of course, the latest patch doesn't just come with a new trailer, but it also welcomes tons of treats for everyone this month.

In the latest update to Clash of Clans, you can look forward to a new Capital District: Goblin Mines, as well as a new Capital Spell and fresh Capital Troops among other in-game goodies. In particular, the Goblin Mines will let you build the Mega Sparky Workshop to unlock Mega Sparky - this Mega Troop can deal splash damage and can target defences with an electric blast. You can unlock the Goblin Mines at Capital Hall level 9.

The new Capital Spell Endless Haste, on the other hand, can give your Capital Troops a welcome boost when it comes to their movement speed. It also lingers even after your units have left the spell's area range, and can even remain for 4 attacks. Meanwhile, the new Goblin Thrower can deal splash damage to ground troops, with every barrel packed with 3 Spear Goblins for a nasty surprise against your unwitting foes.

There are tons of other new additions to the game in this latest patch, which you can read all about in glorious detail over on the official patch notes. For now, if you're eager to join in on all the fun and give the game a go yourself, you can do so by downloading Clash of Clans on the Google Play Store for Android devices and on the iOS App Store.
