Things are going well for Supercell. Clash of Clans and Hay Day are still bringing tons of cash and Clash Royale is about to bring even more money to the table.

Analyst firm Newzoo is reporting that in its first month the app $80 million in its first month with Asia and the US accounting for 64% of that revenue. And that's after Apple's cut of the profits.

This would mean that the game is on track to make more than a billion this year.

Supercell is now trying to increase the app's popularity and long term appeal by hosting its first official tournament this weekend.

It will take place in Helsinki but don't worry, you won't have to travel there to see it as it will also be broadcasted on Twitch and Youtube starting at 1pm ET (6PM UK time, 7PM CET) tomorrow (April 16).

The event is open to anybody and currently has more than 200 participants.

Exciting times for the mobile Esport scene and we'll see if it can be as successful as Hearthstone and Vainglory in that area.
