Massive strategy game Civilization Revolution 2 has finally made the arduous journey from iOS to Android. So if you're a Google-powered player, now's your chance to find out how long your empire would last.

The game doesn't quite have the gargantuan scale of its PC inspiration, but it still lets you push for economic or cultural victories, rather than just expecting you to build the best army.

When we reviewed the iOS version we said "it's hard to recommend Civilization Revolution 2 to those who already played the original. But if this is your first dose of Civ, you're in for a treat."

So there you go. You can grab the game right now from the Google Play Store for £11.27 / $14.99. Which is quite a lot of money.

The US price is the same as the App Store, but UK civilisers have to pay about a quid extra because of the way the Play Store works out exchange rates.

If you're still sat on the fence, why not check out our hands-on video with the game back at the top of the story.
