Square Enix's Bronze Award-winning Chaos Rings Omega hits Android

Famed Final Fantasy developer Square Enix has finally ported its Bronze Award-winning iPhone and iPad RPG Chaos Rings Omega over to Android.

This turn-based RPG may have been released more than a year after the original Chaos Rings, but Omega is actually a prequel that's set 10,000 years before the events that take place in its predecessor.

Omega's storyline revolves around a ship called the Arc Arena and a vicious earth-based life-or-death tournament that pits helpless couples against each other.

Unlike in Chaos Rings, where you take on the roles of several characters, Omega sees you jump into the boots of just one: a young whippersnapper known as Vieg.

Your adventures involve lots of exploration, some puzzle solving, and plenty of random encounters with beasts, ogres, and other fantasy baddies.

As expected, Square Enix isn't giving Chaos Rings Omega away cheaply. It'll set you back £8.99 / $12.99 on Android.
