Catan Universe is the latest adaptation of the classic board game to land on iOS and Android
And it brought Catan Duels with it
This week, in the slightly convoluted world of digital Catan adaptations, another mobile edition of the game has joined the flock. It's called Catan Universe, it's out right now, and it won't cost you a thing to pick it up.
As you might be able to tell from the title, Catan Universe isn't just one game. In fact it's two. You get the original Catan, as well as the two player card game Catan Duels.
If you don't want to pay you can play the basic Catan board game in multiplayer. Playing the single player version of Arrival on Catan, which is also free, will in turn unlock custom and multiplayer variations of that scenario.
You also get to play the introductory game of Catan Duels. Other content is available through in-app purchases. So you can unlock all of Catan Duels, as well as the rest of the original game and its expansions Cities and Knights, and Seafarers.
