Android gets a Jurassic shooter with the release of Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter

Tatem Games has ported its iOS shooter Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter to Android, bringing dinosaur hunting fun to a new audience.

Featuring lush 3D environments and advanced dinosaur AI, Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter looks to providea sizeable challenge for its 35MB download.

Mapping it out

The basic version of Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter is free, and comes loaded with two legendary maps along with three of the more docile dinosaur species to hunt.

In-app purchases of the Extreme Hunting Bundle and Pro Hunting Bundle are also available and add new maps, dinosaurs (you need the Extreme Hunting Bundle to bag your own T-Rex), and weapons.

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter has enjoyed a solid run so far on Google Play, seeing over 80,000 downloads in its first eight days. This accomplishment is all the more striking considering that the game is Tatem’s second title to arrive on Android.
