Season 6 of Call of Duty Mobile will have a Wild West theme and introduce new weapons, modes, operator skills and more

Call of Duty Mobile's latest update introduces a host of new game modes, maps, weapons and a Wild West-themed Battle Pass that's set to begin on May 1st. There will also be a weapon and Operator Skill that will be available for free to all players.

The free Operator Skill is called Annihilator and will see your character draw a high powered revolver that has the ability to track nearby targets and take them out without needing to be directly aimed at them. Meanwhile, the weapon up for grabs is called the Outlaw, a DMR that has enough stopping power to kill enemies in one shot alongside a high fire rate and ADS speed.

Both of these fit the Wild West theme that Call of Duty Mobile has opted for when Season 6 begins. Naturally, that will also be present in the Battle Pass with the premium version offering Cowboy versions of Ghost and Seraph.

The upcoming Battle Pass is also set to remove tier challenges. Instead, you'll simply need to complete more Multiplayer or Battle Royale matches. The longer you spend in matches the more experience you'll earn and beyond that the system will also take into account kills, assists, etc when calculating your tier progress.

Joining the Battle Pass will two dusty maps. The first will be familiar to long-time CoD fans as Rust will be added to the game, a notoriously small map where 1v1's used to go down. Well, you'd be challenged to one at least. In addition to that, there will also be a map called Saloon which will be used exclusively for 2v2 Showdown and a new mode called 1v1 Duels, which is fairly self-explanatory.

Meanwhile, in Battle Royale, a new class will be added. This will be called Poltergeist and will temporarily grant players near invisibility, allowing them to get the drop on their opponents. Whilst this ability is active players running and walking speed will be increased.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
