Three years after being announced, action RPG Breath of Fire VI is finally out in Japan
Breath of Fire is quite the popular franchise in Japan so when the next numbered title, coming after Breath of Fire V on PS2, was announced people were angry to find out that it was only coming out on mobile and PC.

Indeed, as a turning point for the franchise, it was announced back in 2013 that Breath of Fire VI: Guardians of the White Dragon would be released on PC, Android and iOS later that year.

Well it took a lot more time than anticipated but the game's now officially launching this week in Japan.

The game's still an RPG that you can play in single player, following the epic tale of the Dragon clans. You'll then take part in combats with your party of heroes and use every skill at your disposal.

There's also some city building aspects with a village that you can expand and that other players can visit.

But the biggest addition is the cross platform multiplayer. You can join other players in groups of four without having to worry about the platform that they're playing on.

While it's only out on February 24th in Japan, you can already download and play the game now on Android and PC. An official release is also planned on iOS but you'll have to wait for March.

There's still no word of a western release but we'll inform you if that changes
