[Update] Top-down racer Blur Overdrive out now on Android, and coming to iOS on November 1st

Whoops! We totally forgot to tell you that Blur Overdrive
is now available on Google Play for free.
It's fun, but just about every monetisation trick in the book is used, including an energy system, wait timers for new cars and mods, the option to pay for faster cars, and the ability to start the game with certain power-ups.
The game should screech onto iPhone and iPad at the end of this week. We will let you know - for real, this time.
Racing doesn't have to be safe and stale. It can be ridiculous and reckless, and encourage you to ram into people or shoot them to pieces.
That was what made Blur
, the console racer from the sadly now defunct Bizarre Creations, so exciting. And now Marmalade Play and Appcrowd are hoping to capture some of that overpowered craziness with the release of Blur Overdrive
It's a free-to-play top down racer with four different types of car, more than 10 special events, and eight different power-ups that let you trash the other vehicles in the race or repair your own.
There are 25 different vehicles to unlock and more than 250 different upgrades to strap on to your car to make it faster, tougher, or more deadly.Blur Overdrive
should be available on the Google Play Store later in the day, and it's due to do a super cool powerslide onto the App Store on November 1st.
