Yes, folks. It's Thursday again and I'm here ready to talk to you about the fabulous list of new mobile games you can sink into. Whether this week's crawled past or whizzed by, the weekend's just around the corner so hold on a little longer.

On the roster we've got a nice variety of titles ranging from puzzlers through endless runners and shooters, but what'll take your fancy? Only you can be the judge of that, friends.

So, grab yourself a cuppa, put your feet up, and have a look to see what jumps out at you.

1
Animal Cove

I'm sure you'll be familiar with match-three mechanics, so getting into this puzzler should be a piece of cake for you. Solve puzzles, decorate a tropical paradise, and work through the island's mystery alongside your talking animal friends.

The more you explore, the more you'll be able to solve. No other humans can hear the animals talk, you see, so only you can figure out the island's secrets.

2
Armed Heist

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: F2P

If you're into this sort of thing, Armed Heist puts you right in the shoes of an A-Class criminal and lets you work through varying degrees of challenging 'jobs'.

Pull off heists, earn cash, and reap the rewards of your efforts in this slick third-person shooter. With 70 challenges on offer you've got your work cut out for you, but whoever said crime doesn't pay?

3
Barbearian

Though one of the priciest mobile games we've seen in our New Releases list for a while, Barbearian offers up a lot to love and we thought it was pretty swell.

This fast-paced brawler will have you grabbing loot, upgrading your fighters, working through over 100 hand-drawn levels, rescuing prisoners, and taking on a ton of big, bad bosses as you go. It might take you a little while to get into, but stick with it for proper payout.

4
Bendy in Nightmare Run

Bendy in Nightmare Run has all of the creepy charms of the series and you can play as Bendy, Boris, and Angel as you fight off enemies, work your way through tricky terrain, and play fisticuffs with some big, bad bosses.

As well as collecting weapons, you can upgrade your own abilities by trading in cans of Bacon Soup and dress up your character in new outfits that haven't yet been seen.

5
ColorFold

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £1.99/$1.99

As the title would suggest, ColorFold is a puzzler all about folding coloured ribbons and solving puzzles. Easy as that sounds, you're going to need to pay close attention if you want to complete each level.

With over 80 levels to get through, you need to fill checkpoints with the right colour and strategically manipulate your ribbon to get to the end point.

6
Evergarden

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £5.99/$5.99

Set in a mystical forest world, this satisfying puzzler will have you transforming plants into new forms and figuring out the secrets within.

Help Fen bring the forest back to life and enjoy the rhythm of it as you go. Earn stones, unlock songs (which add new strategies to the board), and have fun with over six hours of playtime.

7
Harvey's New Eyes

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £4.99/$4.99

Follow Lily as she uses her imagination to escape her rather depressing, hum-drum life. Regardless of what she's asked to do or what dreadful tasks the matron has forced upon her, there's always a little bit of fun to be had.

The big question is what's real and what's straight out of Lily's mind? Potato-shaped friends can't be real, right? I guess there's only so much a child can take before the wheels fall off, especially when her best friend, Edna, disappears...

8
Legend of Solgard

Pal-up with Embla as she borrows the powers of The Sun Goddess and help her fight back against Ragnarok. The eternal frost is coming and in this match-stuff RPG you've got the ability to thaw it right out.

Collect and upgrade your army of creatures, loot treasure from Norse legend, and put your very best strategies forward to fight the armies ahead of you. Oh, and you can clan up with other players to fight Guild Bosses, which is always fun.

9
Thunderdogs

Compete against other players in the online battle game, but hold on 'cos things might get a little ruff. Blow up the competition, steal their bones, and climb your way up the leaderboard like a good boy. A very good boy.

Much like the beloved .io game which are way too easy to get into, the more bones you collect the bigger a target you'll be, but we expect your epic flying skills are right up to scratch.
