It's all well and good getting a
massive green rage monster to try and do all that world-saving business for you, but sometimes you need someone with a bit of subtlety to complement the all-out brawn.
Director of peacekeeping organisation S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury clearly thinks along the same lines. He needs style, cunning, and understatement. Right: send for the man with the spangly shield and blue jumpsuit.
Yes, Captain America has joined the line-up in the iOS and Android thump-'em-up
Avengers Initiative.
In the second episode of this Marvel tie-in game, Cap is tasked with uncovering a mole in S.H.I.E.L.D. and biffing anyone with the cheek to get in his way.

Steve Rogers's alter ego has all the customisation options that you'd expect, including combat upgrades and a choice of costumes.
As part of this new content update, the aforementioned Hulk has had a wardrobe overhaul. This means Dr Bruce Banner can choose to sport - among other new get-ups - an intriguing-sounding "Mr Fixit" outfit. Presumably, he repairs things by punching them. Hard.
Next episodeThe update also includes support for iOS devices with Retina displays and the iPhone 5's larger screen; Russian language support; and lots of general bug fixes.
Oh, and if you are wondering who the stars of the next instalments in the
Avengers Initiative will be, look away now...
Iron Man and Thor.
Avengers Initiative is available now on iOS for £4.99 / $6.99 [
buy], and on Android for £3.13 [
buy].
Updated on December 14th, at 15:09: The new Captain America episode will set you back 10,000 ISO-8. You can either stump up 69p / 99c for this amount of in-game currency, or take your time and earn it the old-fashioned way.

The reviews were unfortunately less than flattering, but I'm sure my daughter at least would have some fun with the game... it's too bad they haven't felt the need to patch the game for Xoom/full tegra 2 support (I'm curious to try it somehow though, it's a shame they couldn't make a free trial for people with untested hardware to at least give it a go).
I sent them an email asking if they planned to include Xoom support, but no response. I'd buy it for 5 bucks, but if by the time they patch it for supporting my device (if they do), if the price is raised I won't be interested.

I actually considered picking this up, but they didn't even have support for the Xoom! I don't understand that.
Does the extra chapter cost as an IAP? Or is it included with the initial purchase?
