Dinofarm Games has released Auro for Android at long last. The iOS version is on its way, too.

Auro is the latest game from 100 Rogues designer Keith Burgan. This time around, Burgan has grafted a "monster-bumping adventure" for us all.

Yep, Auro is a game of tactics in which you guide Prince Auro through procedurally generated dungeons.

To protect him, you'll have to make do with a handful of spells and strategic movement to deal with the nasties.

It all plays out on a hex-based grid surrounded by liquid that vanquishes everything that falls into it. Each monster has its own unique ability that you'll have to get familiar with if you hope to stay on dry land.

Auro has a story mode so you can get to grips with how it works. It also has a competitive play mode that lets you build up your Rank over time.

Plus, if you just nipped out for a cheeky play session during a break, there's a quickplay mode for such an occasion.

You can purchase Auro on Google Play for £1.99 / $2.99 right now. The iOS version should be along shortly - a problem with Adobe AIR has caused further delay.
