Attack on Titan is headed to mobile and it's probably the type of game you expected

We knew there was a mobile game in the works based on the ever-popular series, Attack on Titan, but today we finally got a full name and a little bit of detail.

Attack on Titan: Assault, officially developed by GameSamba and licensed by Kodansha, is an RPG runner which aims to give players the same thrilling experience you get from the anime.

"It will combine elements of an RPG and runner features in order to replicate the fast-paced action of the titan battles from the anime series. Players will need to use careful planning--and quick reactions--to survive."

There will also be deeper elements to the game, including multiplayer, but for now we're left guessing what these might entail.

I've got a good idea in my head what the game may play like and what sort of control we should be expecting. Since GameSamba is on the case it's highly likely it'll be free to play, but we'll have to wait for more detail. There's no release date as of yet, but it will be coming to both iOS and Android.
