Hoist the sails - Assassin's Creed Pirates arrives on December 5th for iOS and Android
Prepare the cannons
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag players on console and PC aren't the only ones who get to sail the Caribbean, and partake in a little naval combat, this winter.
Ubisoft has confirmed a December 5th release date for Assassin's Creed Pirates on iOS and Android. It will cost £2.99 / $4.99 across both platforms.
We were able to take a very brief look at Pirates when it was announced in September. We found out that you play as Alonzo Batilia, who is a pirate trying to solve a centuries-old riddle.
You control the ships that Alonzo commands, and steer them across the Caribbean waters. The emphasis of the game is on action, and so you'll often engage in ship-to-ship combat with cannons.
Ubisoft didn't have much to show of Pirates when it was announced a couple of months ago. Luckily, we've got a full preview coming this week - and a video should be on the way today.
