Amid the glitz and glamour of the
Galaxy S III's launch event earlier in London was a throwaway tease for the next instalment of Gameloft's wildly successful
Asphalt racing series.
The tease for
Asphalt 7 was brief, as these things often are, but the video did show a sun-drenched beach track, which looked positively gorgeous on the newly unveiled Galaxy S III's mammoth 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen.
Both the stock
Android and the
Xperia Play version of
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline picked up a Silver Award after completing a few laps on the
PG test track last year, so we wait with bated breath to discover whether its sequel will go one (or even) two better.
