Arena Breakout's latest update introduces female characters, a Kill Cam, the Trophy Room, and more

Today, MoreFun Studios has announced an update to the Global Closed Beta version of its shooter Arena Breakout. Based on player feedback, a host of new features have arrived, including female character models, a Kill Cam, and a Trophy Room. The beta has also expanded its regions to include Thailand and Turkey.

In multiplayer games, everyone likes to show off their accolades and achievements. In Arena Breakout, that partly translates to the look you successfully extract. So, the developers have added the Trophy Room, a personal space that lets you proudly display your collectables, weapons, badges and anything else you've scavenged.

The latest update introduces female character models, giving players more options in the Character Creator screen. There are also more customisation options elsewhere with the addition of Custom Quick Chat, which allows you to select specific voice commands to quickly use in-game.

Elsewhere, Arena Breakout now has a Kill Cam. It's a useful feature in a high-stakes game like this. In the midst of all the chaos, you might not always know how you died and, most importantly, in some cases, where they were hiding. With this new feature, you can pick up new tactics by watching how you fell in battle alongside keeping an eye out for any suspicious player activity.

If you prefer to play Arena Breakout with pals, the new Team Lending feature might interest you. It lets you share supplies with your squad, which could prove crucial in everyone making it out alive. And you can jump into the fight faster using Quick Equip, which gears you up in a pinch, so you don't have to spend hours in the menu. Although, for me, that was an oddly enjoyable part of the game. And finally, MoreFun Studios has made some changes Armor Case Store, giving you the option to roll up equipment.

Currently, in a closed global beta test, Arena Breakout will eventually fully launch on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. If you want to learn more about it, head to the official website.
